TOMATOES are coming!

big big big!

With the plant sale approaching May 12th- we are growing growing growing! We have a lot of plants to grow for a whole bunch of non-profits and schools also. We have been transplanting many many tomatoes and they are looking gorgeous. Even when it’s cramped in here- the students are able to work all over and around each other- it’s great to see. Tomatoes- coming to a plate near you.

Orca p-patch comes alive!

We got down to the p-patch the other day and uncovered the winter off of our plot. Most of the food grown here will be donated to the local food bank. Exploring community gardening and free food production is a great concept to explore for youth.

Many Cultures, One World

Our annual many cultures, one world festival was a hit again this year. Student’s worked really hard to share their in depth study of so many cultures, countries, and pressing world issues. The greenhouse was an extension of India w/ kindergarten. The smell of curry and chai is still in the air here. Namaste.
