Kindergarten taste test!!

Garden coordinator Anthony Warner raided the Orca p-patch and gathered a handful of yummy vegetables and fruits for kindergarten students in Mr. McCullough’s class to taste. They drew the vegetable, tasted it, and then drew how they felt when they ate it. This helps students connect writing with the tactile experience of eating yummy garden foods. The harvested foods were: lemon cucumber, tomatoes, chard, mustard greens, grapes, mint, green beans, and fennel.
