6th grade science eats the garden

What better way to start our unit on food than to harvest and eat some delicious Orca produce? Middle school is such an amazing age- where a self identity is being developed and new experiences can be both challenging and rewarding. We talked about the main differences between the food in the garden and food from the store. Our food is fresher, tastes better, cause less pollution, and it’s free!
