Summer Camp Fun

It’s been a sunny & rambunctious couple of weeks in the Orca garden as our 2nd annual Summer camps have been in full stride. We have done so much- made fresh Orca pesto, fennel salt, painting pots for mint plants, native plant books, garden art, and field trips to the Hillman City p-patch & Seward Park. Using the garden in the summer has always been a goal of ours and it’s been happening in a big way. We have just passed over 75,000 views on this blog- which is awesome- thank you for all the support!

Extra special thanks to all the guest teachers/parents teaching classes w/ us this week about medicinal plants, poetry, art, & fabulous cooking! This really is a community effort.
